so this episode is about game 5 of the world series and the gang’s adventures on their way to the game.
the most annoying thing about this show is the fact that they promote that fantasy sports league show during every commercial break. those promos alone are the reason the fast-forward feature on my TiVo was invented.
do they still do fumigation like that? i have never in my life seen a house or building covered in the circus tent coverings. i call bullshit on that.
the judge on the show is a guest on EVERY show and more often than not she’s a judge … Bones, Boston Legal, Better Off Ted, Community, and now this.
are they not saying holiday inn? it sounds like they keep saying holidee inn.
i don’t quite understand where this original ticket came from. they never say exactly what violation occured that ended them up in court, or did i just miss that?
this show is sort of awesome. i feel like it’s a show i could come up with awesome stories for since i’m capable of being just insanely random.
speaking of courts … guess who got summoned for jury duty for the first time ever? this guy. i would act completely awesome on that day but i’m afraid i wouldn’t get taken seriously and they wouldn’t even think about selecting me.

Soooo… i can attest to these whole-house fumigation tents. RJ’s neighbor at his hunting lodge in central IL developed a leaky roof a few years ago and rather than fix the leak, instead purchased a giant blue tarp to cover his whole house (it extends to the ground). For the first year, it was a little dark inside with the tarp over the windows but then he cut out window-holes in the tarp so the sunlight could get in. True Story. I can hear the deliverance banjos playing now.
First, “you got a purdy mouth”.
Second, they had to change the way they said Holiday Inn, just like with Philly Phranatic instead of Phanatic. As Charlie explained when walking out of the courtroom, it was to avoid being sued.
Is the drawing for this episode a baseball on a waterslide?
Point of Discussion:
Has this show become too focused on commercialization. Coors Light is thrown at you from every angle, and it seems like they are also fighting to have new sponsors showcased in the program and quickly followed by a spot in the next commercial pod. The bad part is how unnatural the integrations are – like reading a script from a card.
